Kileigh's mom Kristen joins the podcast today to discuss the long battle her daughter faced with Lyme. Kileigh was a typical child loving dance classes, playing lacrosse, loved going to school, hanging out with her friends and going to amusement parks. That all came crashing down when Lyme disease took over. She ended up in a wheelchair at age 13; not able to walk, talk, or take care of herself. She missed most of her middle school years and was homeschooled. After many doctor visits and extensive research she's slowlely got better and is now a high school senior on the college search.
