So I'm so excited that you're tuning in and get ready for this upcoming show. It is going to be amazing. Welcome back to Integrative lyme Solutions with Dr. Karlfeld. I'm Dr. Michael Karlfeldt and today's episode is dedicated to Question I get often what can the Karlfeldt center do for people battling Lyme disease and its co infections? Whether you've been recently diagnosed or you're years into the struggle, today I want to walk you through an immersive healing experience we created at the Karl Phil Center. An integrative Lyme protocol designed to kill infections, detoxify the body, calm inflammation, regenerate tissue, awaken cellular energy and resolve deep rooted trauma. So let's start with reality. Lyme disease isn't just about Borrelia. That corkscrew shaped bacterium Borrelia burgdorferi may be what shows up on the test. If you're lucky. If you're lucky. But it's rarely the only culprit. In fact, most of my Lyme patients are dealing with a full blown infection ecosystem that includes confections like Babesia, malaria like parasite that causes air hunger and night sweats. You got Bartonella which hides in blood vessels and inflames the nervous system. Ehrlichia, anaplasma, mycoplasma, and the ever present Epstein Barr virus, often reactivated and hijacking immune function. And on top of that, many have hidden mold exposures, mycotoxins disrupting mitochondrial energy and a body burdened by heavy metals, pesticides or glyphosates that throwing a wrench in detox pathways. It's like their immune system is stuck in a fog. Fighting shadows, burning through reserves, but never gaining ground. And let's not forget the brain fog. Crushing fatigue, muscle pain, dizziness, memory loss, anxiety, panic, depersonalization, migrating joint pain that makes people feel like they're losing their mind. But here's what often gets missed. Even in integrative clinics. Underneath all the microbial chaos, there's often a nervous system that's been traumatized, sometimes since childhood. There's often emotional trauma, abuse, betrayal, loss, neglect that never healed and continues to suppress immune surveillance and ignite inflammation. There's limbic systems that's looping constantly, sending false alarms, amplifying pain and keeping the body in survival mode. And so patients spend years chasing symptoms. One lab test here, one supplement there, wondering why they're not getting better. So the truth is this isn't a one pill problem or a one doctor solution. It requires a multi layered, intelligent approach that works with the body's natural intelligence, not against it. At the Karpel center, we don't just treat the symptoms, we address the terrain. So that means rebuilding the immune system's discernment so it knows when to act and when to calm down. Restoring mitochondrial energy so the body has power to heal. Detoxifying the system from mold, metals, microbial waste that's jamming the body signals, clearing emotional trauma stored in the tissues, nervous system and limbic brain that fuels chronic illness. It's not just about killing Lyme. It's about creating a new internal ecosystem where healing is possible. And that's exactly what we help our patients do here at the Karpel center through science, nature and heart centered care. Imagine spending two weeks or more with us in Boise, Idaho, surrounded by nature, advanced technologies, compassionate support. Receiving an individually tailored protocol that combines pathogen elimination therapies like pdt, photodynamic therapy. We use photosensitizers like methylene blue riboflavin paired with targeted light and sound frequencies to kill borrelia and its co infections at a cellular level. And we have Trudose. We got eboo. These are amazing technologies going to talk about that a little bit later. Other ozone IVs like UBI, we have curcumin, we have EGCG, resveratrol, artisanate, there's so many different options, chelation, IVs, hydrogen peroxide and yeah, the list goes on and on about all the different IV therapies that we can use to personalize your care. So then not to forget, you know, so that was all the different, you know, working on that pathogen elimination aspect. Then for detoxification and drainage, you know, things like glutathione, nad talked a little bit about chelation, ionic foot bath, we have lopresso hocket. So Hockett is an amazing machine that has about 10 different therapies in one machine. Combining ozone, hyperthermia, rife technology, exercise with oxygen therapy, photobiomodulation. I mean so it's a powerful, powerful machine to detox and to revitalize immune system for anti inflammatory and to also kill off pathogens. And then it is important then for mitochondrial and cellular regeneration because mitochondria is key. Anytime you're dealing with Lyme infections, if the cell does not have the energy, then viruses can set up shop and pathogens can set up shop in your tissue. And also for you know, post Lyme or when you had low Lyme damage in tissue, you want the mitochondria to be able to turn on the energy production to heal that tissue. So that, that becomes really, really important. And there we have things like the photobiomodulation where we do intravenous and external laser therapy, light therapy to trigger the regeneration of the tissue, but also to turn on the mitochondria. Because the mitochondria you have these waste stations, different complexes, the complex 1, 2, 3, 4 that your electrons move through in order to be able to produce energy. And lo and behold, different parts of the spectrum activates these different way stations. So by introducing intravenous, a full spot spectrum, intravenous laser therapy, you can then activate this mitochondria to really turn it on. And then also things like exercise with oxygen therapy where you breathe oxygen while either being on a bike, or we have shaker plates or different things that you can do to exercise. And when you're breathing that you're saturating your body full with oxygen, driving oxygen deep into tissues, which also then actually starves these anaerobic infections and boosting then cellular function. And then we got peptides, stem cells, exosomes to regenerate tissue. So all these regenerative biologics help to restore and Repair what Lyme and inflammation have damaged, like your brain, your joints, your nerves, gut lining and so much more. So these are powerful tools. You know, the peptides, you know, like BPC 157, TB 500 GHK copper. Then to restore your hypothalamus or your pituitary and the secretion of human growth hormones, cgc, Epimoren for the mitochondria like Motsi. So there's so many different tools with peptides that we can bring in depending on the individual and where their challenges are. Then neuro, emotional reset and brain support. We get Evox, which is like a voice mapping theta chamber. These help to rewire limbic loops of trauma and fear, often hardwired when you're dealing with chronic illness. Exomine, which is an advanced form of transcranial magnetic stimulation, it's actually kind of, kind of a breakthrough drug free brain stimulation therapy that improves focus, mood, cognitive clarity. You know, if you deal with depression, anxiety, or your memory is not focusing the way that it should, you know, we can then bring in examine to help that or you know, things like Monicor, Rife technology, these different frequency based modalities to assess and rebalance your bioenergetics, you know, helping restore coherence in the nervous system and the immune system. And then along with that, you know, you want to make sure that we're able to assess, you know, to be able to guide you in what kind of protocol that would be the best. So things like live blood cell analysis is fantastic. I mean it's really phenomenal. When you take a little drop of blood, put it under a microscope and then you blow that up on a big screen and, and you can see, you can see like fungus and parasites and bacteria and sometimes even spirochetes in the bloodstream. And you can see whether your red blood cells are all sticky, inflamed, unhealthy, or if they're separated, full with oxygen, able to transport oxygen. Well, you can also check and see the status of your immune system. Are they actively going after things? Are they kind of sitting there by the pool, you know, having a drink, doing nothing? Because sometimes we just see, yes, we see the white blood cells, but they are not active. They're just kind of hanging out there, taking up space so that you can see then with this live blood cell analysis. And you can also see another aspect of that, you know, where you take the drop and you allow it to dry on a slide and look at that under microscope. Then you can see, you know, Your tissue integrity. You can see inflammatory patterns, heavy metals, you know, connective tissue, vitamin C levels, your liver function, your, you know, if you get leaky gut, if you deal with allergies, if you adrenal function, I mean, thyroid, there's so much you can see just from your own blood. And you know, using the microscope that we have here at the center, you know, we can do that. Let's discover yours together. [00:14:52] Speaker B: And then we have ART, or autonomic response testing where it's developed by Dr. Dietrich Klinghardt. He's a leading integrative doctor when it comes to Lyme and, and this is an advanced form of muscle testing to pinpoint and see what kind of co Infections, what kind of infections? To heavy metals, chemicals. To assess the terrain and see where these things are, where they're landing, how they're impacting the body, and how you're able to detoxify the status of your gut. It's phenomenal the amount of information that you can gain in a very short period of time using this technique called ART, or autonomic response testing. Then we have an advanced form of heart rate variability testing called Heart Quest, where you can actually check correlating your heart rate variability to your mitochondrial activity, your energy production, your inflammatory state, your brain function, all the different neurotransmitters like dopamine, serotonin, norepinephrine, epinephrine, all your hormones, thyroid, your sex hormones, your adrenal function. Also I can correlate it with your spleen function, liver function, all the kind of Chinese organs. And so the Heart Quest can do that and then get AO scan. It's another way to kind of check for energetic imbalances. And that also drives you then towards what kind of infectious agents that may be present. It's phenomenal what these bioenergetic type of testings can do and what we can learn from them. Let's go back a little bit to some of the therapies that I was talking about, one that we are very unique with here at the Karpel Center. And we've done this for many, many years. And we collaborate with doctors all over the world to make sure that we are on top in regards to this type of therapy. And that's photodynamic therapy, or pdt. And it's a way to actually reprogram the immune system by killing Lyme. Then at the cellular level, photodynamic therapy, or pdt, is one of the most precise and revolutionary therapies we use at the Karfield center to target chronic infections like Borrelia, Babesia, Bartonella, and even stealth viruses and mold. Here's how it works. We start then by introducing a photosensitizing agent into the body, commonly something like methylene blue, riboflavin, but even other normal. I shouldn't say normal, but other type of IVs, like curcumin, artisanate, you know, these can function like photosensitizers as well. Methylene blue riboflavin, just a little bit stronger. And so these agents are selectively absorbed by pathogens and also inflamed tissue or anything metabolically dysregulated, any kind of cell that's metabolically dysregulated. So it then gets absorbed to the attach to these pathogens like Lyme. And then by using then a intravenous optical fiber, we deliver. So it's a optical fiber that we intravenously insert. We deliver targeted wavelengths of light directly into the bloodstream. It's amazing. Exposing then your full blood volume up to 60 times in a single session. And all of this is within a closed loop system. So which means that your blood never has to leave your body as it gets passing by normal circulation, it gets treated and you know, your whole blood volume 60 times. So it's, it's, it's incredible the, the amount of exposure and what we can do. So this allows and for a total body exposure to maximize an efficacy. So when light hits the photosensitizer and it activates a chemical reaction that generates reactive oxygen species or rs, and so a controlled oxidative burst that kills pathogens at the cell level. Now think of it like a smart bomb that detonates only in infected or dysfunctional cells, sparing all healthy tissue. So it's phenomenal. But here's what makes PDT even more powerful for Lyme patients. So it has like a vaccine effect. So when the pathogens are destroyed, they release cellular debris and antigens into the bloodstream. These fragments are immediately recognized by the immune system, which now has a clear picture of what is fighting. So this allows the immune system to develop precise antibody responses, you know, leading to a form of, of long term natural immunity. It's like training the body with a personalized vaccine built from its own microbial enemies. Really, really cool. And also what is phenomenal, I talked about how the different colors impact and the mitochondria in different ways. You know, so they all also have different healing effects. You know, so ultraviolet blue light that we use in our, when we do the photodynamic therapy or the photobiomodulation, it potentially kills the majority of bacteria. It's very, very antibacterial, breaks down biofilms, reduces microbial virulence. So ultraviolet and blue light, very powerful for that yellow light, very antiviral against stealth viruses like Epstein Barr, Cytomegalovirus HHV6. That often complicates Lyme. And then we have red light, especially with the photosensitizer methylene blue. It triggers that PDT effect, the photodynamic effect, and stimulates also the immune system activity. So really activates your white blood cells and your natural killer cells to really optimize that, that killing effect. You know, going after all the different pathogens, blue Light, you know, in addition to being very antibacterial or killing things, it's also amazing as an anti inflammatory, calming cytokine storms, neuroinflammation. So, and we know, like I mentioned, all colors stimulate your mitochondrial function, restoring ATP production, cellular repair, all the energy that's produced within the cell. All colors help with that. This multispectrum approach allow us then to customize treatment based on the patient's microbial profile, immune status and energetic terrain. Phenomenal for patients suffering from chronic Lyme mold toxicity or persistent viral reactivation. PDT is not just a microbe killer, it is an immune educator. It removes the blindfold from the immune system, helps it see the invaders clearly, and then arms it with intelligence to remember and fight back. So that's the kind of vaccine effect that we're talking about. This therapy is one of the cornerstones of our integrated Lyme protocol because it doesn't just manage symptoms, it restores intelligent immunity, breaks immune tolerance and empowers the body to clear infections on its own term. So that was pdt, photodynamic therapy, then ozone therapy. So that's a little bit easier to find around the country. But that is also one of my, it's powerful, powerful therapy targeting Lyme and co infections also with precision and power. So when it comes to chronic Lyme and CO infections, ozone therapy is actually one of the most versatile, potent and deeply restorative therapies. We also offer it here at the Karlfield Center. It's not just an antimicrobial, it's kind of like, it's like a total system reboot. So let's break that down. At its core, ozone, which is O3, normal oxygen, is O2. O3 has an extra oxygen molecule or atom attached to it. It's a supercharged form of oxygen. So when introduced into the bloodstream, it delivers a triple punch. Oh three, triple. So you have the direct microbial kill, then you have an immune modulation along with anti inflammatory action. And then we also have cell regeneration and detoxification. So that's why ozone isn't just useful for Borrelia, it's effective against the full spectrum of Lyme associated infections. Again, Babesia, Bartonella, Ehrlichia, mycoplasma, mold species, viral reactivation like Epstein Barr and even other cell pathogens that hide in biofilms, you know. So how does ozone kill infections? So when ozone administrator is administered intravenously, whether it's like UBI, ultraviolet bladder radiation, you also have like 10 pass out there, major autohemotherapy or you know, EBOO, you know, it stands for extracorporal blood oxygenation and ozonation, which is what we do here. It rapidly. So when it's administer intravenously, it rapidly reacts with lipids and proteins on the surface of the pathogens. So this creates those reactive oxygen species that I talked about earlier. And also lipid oxidation products or LOPs, that destroys spirochetes like Borrelia, that dissolves biofilms that protect infections from antibiotics, helps to neutralize mold, viruses, fungi and parasites, and even help chelate toxic metals stuck in nerve and brain tissue, something regular chelation can't always reach. Chelation is phenomenal, but it's good to do Ozone in combination with, in fact, ozone may be one of the only substances that can simultaneously reduce microbial load, break down toxins and regenerate damaged tissues. That's why it's currently being studied actually at Tufts University with promising implications for Lyme disease treatment. So yeah, it's a. Ozone, I would say is kind of one of the most universal things that you know to do when battling Lyme. So again, it's not just about killing microbes, its healing terrain. So what sets ozone apart isn't just what it destroys, it also what it awakens. So it actually stimulates mitochondria, you know, just like we talked about the using intravenous laser therapy, intravenous light that we do here. So it stimulates the mitochondria, you know, those energy producing factors inside your cells to uptake oxygen more efficiently and generate more ATP cellular energy. It upregulates antioxidant activity and pathways like glutathione superoxide and dismutase. Your body becomes more resilient to inflammation and oxidative stress. And perhaps most importantly, ozone modulates immune function. It helps re educate a confused immune system, calming autoimmune overactivity while enhancing pathogen surveillance. This makes it particularly valuable for patients with autoimmune flares post treatment Lyme disease syndrome or mold triggered immune dysregulation. So let's talk a little bit about Herxheimer reaction. So that's something that a lot of Lyme patients are concerned about. And yeah, many Lyme patients been burned by too much too fast, you know, so I, that's very understandable. That's why it's important to carefully titrate ozone based on your individual tolerance, using your body's feedback to determine the pace. So it's, it's really important then to kind of make sure that we monitor and see how you're responding. So yes, Herxheimer reaction, whether you know that's where you feel worse before you feel better, that can happen. It often means that ozone is doing its job, kicking up dead pathogens and toxins. But it's important that we help manage this. And we can do that by pairing ozone with things like glutathione pushes, antioxidants like vitamin C and alpha lipoic acid, detox support like ionic foot bath, flopresso, liver drainage remedies, and you know, when necessary, modifying obviously the ozone dose session to session. So. [00:28:37] Speaker C: So. [00:28:39] Speaker B: One of the most empowering things about ozone is that it doesn't interfere with other treatments. So in fact it enhances all of them. You can safely combine ozone with pharmaceuticals, herbal protocols, you know, whether you're on Cowden Booner protocol or, you know, other protocols, homeopathics, peptides, photodynamic therapy that I talked about, you know, mold, binders, sauna, lymphatic therapies, and unlike many therapies, treatments that lose effect over time, ozone actually builds on itself and stimulating healing more and more with each session. So ozone is as medicine, but there's never any kind of quick fix. So when you deal with Lyme, it's really important to understand, you know, you can't just go, I do a couple of sessions of this and everything is going to be done. So yeah, you got to be real about it. So for patients with late stage Lyme or systemic co infections, it is a marathon, not a sprint. Most of our patients begin seeing noticeable improvements after 10 to 20 sessions, with deeper and longer lasting change often occurring after more sessions as that, especially when combined with the full protocol of detox, emotional healing, mitochondrial support, so kind of bringing it all together. So the key is though, you know, when you do these things, what I've seen, patients get their lives back. You know, energy returns, brain fog lifts, inflammation calms, hope restored. You know, so all of that happens. Then we have another therapy that's very unique here at the Karlfield Center. It's called true dose. It's a platelet IV type of therapy. It's a personalized regeneration for chronic lyme and other things. So at the Karfel center, we offer Trudose platelet IV therapy. It's a groundbreaking regenerative treatment that harnesses the healing power of your body's own platelets. So this innovative approach is particularly beneficial for patient battling chronic lyme disease, confections and systemic inflammation. So what is TruDose Platelet IV therapy? TruDose is a personalized form of platelet rich plasma PRP therapy. So unlike traditional PRP treatments, which is not uncommon throughout the nation, but use PRP to inject into joints or tissue to regenerate, the issue with those, they have inconsistent results due to variable platelet concentrations. So that is the issue. That's why it's called true dose. We gotta make sure that we have the appropriate dose to match what an individual's need, the therapeutic dose. And so Trudose utilizes advanced technology to make sure that we deliver patient specific therapeutic dosages of concentrated platelets. So this precision ensures maximum efficacy and consistency in treatment outcomes. And it's amazing how many what I've seen with Lyme patients and they've been severe pain, exhausted, how a few sessions of Trudeau's really kind of turned their life around and bringing hope and know vitality again. So how does it work? Well, first we do the assessment. We do a small blood sample that's taken to measure your current platelet counts and then we do personalized dosing. So we use a proprietary Trudeau software where we calculate the optimum value of blood to draw, ensuring that a precise concentration of platelets tailored to your body's need and then we process it. The drawn blood is processed to concentrate the platelets and then we re infuse. So it's actually an IV where the concentrated platelets are introduced into your bloodstream intravenously. So this process stimulates your body's innate healing mechanism, addressing systemic inflammation, promoting tissue repair. So the benefits and for Lyme disease and co infections. Patients with chronic Lyme disease often experience persistent symptoms due to ongoing inflammation and immune system dysregulation. Truedose therapy offers several benefits. One is that immune system reset. It helps collab recalibrate. I'm sorry, recalibrate the immune response, reducing that chronic inflammation, tissue regeneration, promoting healing of damaged tissue affected by Lyme and co infections and also symptom relief. I mean patients have reported improvements in fatigue, joint pain, cognitive function, overall well being. Yeah, it's amazing what I've seen and clinical outcomes. So they did a clinical case Series involving 33 Lyme disease patients treated with Trudose PRP intravenous therapy reported substantial improvement. So the average symptom reduction was at 5.40.2% after just one treatment. And that. So just one treatment. That, that was the average symptom reduction. Greater improvements, you had about 42.1% in patients with multiple co infections. You know, so and these patients, they noted enhanced physical strength, improved mental Clarity, significantly reduced joint and muscle pain and better sleep quality within weeks of their initial treatments. And, yeah, true dose therapy is minimally invasive. I mean, it's utilizing your own blood and minimizing the risk of any kind of adverse reactions. It can be seamlessly integrated with all the other therapies, including what we talked about, the ozone therapy, pdt, peptide therapy, different detoxification protocols. So, yeah, truedose platelet IV therapy represents, in my mind, a significant advancement in personalized medicine, offering hope and healing for those suffering from chronic Lyme disease and related conditions. And it does that by leveraging your body's natural healing capabilities with very good precision, so aiming to restore balance and vitality to your life. And then another IV that has been kind of moving the needle for a lot of Lyme patients. And we offered here, along with all the other things that we do. So edta chelation IV and what it does, it helps with breaking biofilms and also detoxifying the terrain in chronic Lyme. So when it comes to Lyme disease, the real challenge isn't always finding Borrelia, it's accessing it. You know, it's getting to it. These, because these stealth bacteria on their co infections, they. They don't just kind of float around freely in the bloodstream. They hide inside biofilms, evade immune surveillance, and bury themselves in tissue, you know, rich in calcium, iron, and heavy metals. So this is where EDTA chelation IVs become actually game changer for a lot of people. So what are biofilms? Let's talk about that a little bit first. And why do they matter in Lyme? So biofilms are these slimy protective shields formed by colonies of bacteria and fungi. So think of them as microscopic fortresses made of calcium, magnesium, iron, polysaccharides. And inside these fortresses, we have Borrelia, Babesia, Bartonella, even Candida can hang inside there and resist antibiotics, avoiding immune detection, and enter in that dormant form that evade traditional lab tests. So you can't even see them through lab tests, and they're just hiding there behind that biofilm. In fact, biofilms are one of the key reasons Lyme persists despite aggressive treatment. So according to research, Borrelia's ability to form biofilms is a major driver of chronic infection and antibiotic resistance. You actually need about a hundred times more antibiotic to be able to get at a Lyme bug that is hiding behind biofilm than you would if there was no biofilm there at all. So how does EDTA work? Edta is a chelating agent. It binds to and removes positively charged metals and minerals like calcium, iron, lead, aluminum, mercury. And when administered intravenously, EDTA does three powerful things in the context of Lyme. One disrupts biofilms by stripping away the calcium, magnesium, iron. EDT 8 stabilizes that structural integrity of the biofilms. Once those defenses crumble, pathogens are then exposed, making them much more vulnerable to the immune system. Antibiotics and oxidative therapies like ozone pdt, they work really well in combination. There's a landmark study on pseudonymous aeruginosa and showed that EDTA was 1000 times more effective than vancomycin at disrupting biofilms. It also been effective against Staphylococcus, Candida, albicans, proteobacteria, all of which can coexist with Borrelia in these polymicrobial biofilms. And another thing that it does that we talked a little bit about, it removes toxic heavy metals. So many Lyme patients have an elevated body burden of heavy metals like lead, mercury, arsenic, cadmium, whether from environmental exposures, amalgam fillings, or impaired detoxification pathways, often due to mold or methylation defects. So these metals, they tend to suppress immune system, they actually feed pathogens. Some microbes use metals as cofactors for survival. The heavy metals also damage mitochondria nervous system. As EDTA then binds to these metals and safely escort them out of the body through the kidneys, unloading the toxic burning, allowing the body to function more efficiently. We upregulate then the, the mitochondria, we kind of free up, getting rid of all that debris that's interfering with mitochondrial activity. And we also then get rid of some of these CO factors of these microbes that use metals to kind of repel immune system activity. So that's why that becomes very important. Another thing that EDTA does is that it improves circulation and oxygen delivery. You know, so EDTA can help reduce that vascular calcification, improves that microcirculation. You know, we know better blood flow means better nutrient delivery, oxygenation and immune cell access to these hard to reach tissue. So just makes all tissue healthier. And also immune system having a better access to, you know, kill things off. And then another one that not a lot of clinics offer and we have it here, it's intravenous hydrogen peroxide. And I like using that in combination with some of these other IVs for Lyme patient. So it is targeted oxygen for infection, detox and immune activation. Lyme disease. So we offer that here as part of our integrator strategy for Lyme disease and CO infection. It's an often underestimated therapy with profound systemic benefits, especially for patients dealing with these persistent infection. Immune suppression, mold toxicity, chronic fatigue. So this therapy works not by suppressing symptoms, but by mobilizing the body's own defense system, starting at the blood level and reaching deep into the tissue. So how does hydrogen peroxide work? It is a molecule your body already produces. It's one of the primary weapons used by your immune system, particularly your polymorphonuclear leukocytes. Try to say that twice if you can. Or PMP ends for short, also known as the killer cells. So these cells use hydrogen peroxide to initiate what's called a respiratory burst, combining water and oxygen to form hydrogen peroxide to zap these invading bacteria. So when we administer hydrogen peroxide intravenously in a clinical setting, it mimics and enhances these natural processes. Here's how you have that initial reaction. Once infused then into the bloodstream, hydroperoxide immediately encounters something called catalyzed enzymes in plasma and white blood cells, converting it into water and singlet oxygen. Singlet oxygen is a highly reactive form of oxygen that directly inhibits and destroys anaerobic pathogens. Another thing that it does, it extended release via cytochrome C. So a portion of the hydrogen peroxide binds to cytochrome C, a protein involved in mitochondrial respiration, to produce energy for about 40, 45 minutes. This complex circulates systemically before breaking down, delivering oxygen deep into tissue and cells. So this prolongs that oxidative effect, allowing the therapy to reach organs to tissues and infections that other treatment may miss. So it really kind of gets deep into the tissue. And then we also know that it has that red blood cell penetration. It enters into the red blood cells where it reacts again with the internal catalase, releasing more oxygen intracellularly, supercharging mitochondrial metabolism and supporting energy production. So what are the benefits in Lyme and CO infections? Hydrogen peroxide IV therapies is uniquely effective against anaerobic organisms, the types of bacteria and viruses that thrive in low oxygen environments. And who are they? Well, Borrelia, Babesia, Bartonella, Epstein Barr, Candida fungus, Mycoplasma, other stealth pathogens. So all of these are thriving in a low oxygen environment. And hydrogen peroxide is very effective against these organisms. These microbes use carbon dioxide as fuel and they struggle to survive in high oxygen environment. And hydrogen peroxide creates an internal environment that is inhospitable to their survival, Working kind of as a broad spectrum antimicrobial without creating any kind of resistance, without damaging your immune system, without destroying your gut, you know, so it is a phenomenal therapy. One of the most powerful benefits of hydrogen peroxide is also its role in transforming biological waste and environmental toxins into inertia substances. So the singlet oxygen molecules that I talked about released through the therapy oxidized toxic compounds, you know, like mold metabolites and mycotoxins, chemical residues, industrial pollutants, microbial debris from die off reactions. So this makes toxins easier for the liver and kidneys to excrete, Reducing the burden on your detox organs and preventing inflammatory flare ups. Then we have that immune and mitochondrial activation. Clinical research actually and physicians, they see this, have shown that intravenous iron peroxide can stimulate interferon production, activating natural killer cells and monocytes and also helps with increase. We talked about increased tissue oxygenation supporting healing and inflamed infected or ischemic tissue Helps to double the rate of the mitochondrial metabolism. Like we talked about the mitochondrial the energy production, Restoring energy to chronically fatigued cells. Improve lung function by oxygenating alveoli and thinning mucus and respiratory infections. Helps also reduce biofilm shielding, exposing the Lyme and co infections to immune attacks. So for patients with Lyme toxicity, long Covid chronic viral syndromes, Intravenous hydrogen peroxide really help create the internal terrain where healing is possible. It is a forgotten. It's a powerful, powerful therapy. Then another IV that we do here at the center, it is intravenous hydrochloric acid, believe it or not. Yeah, so we think of hydrochloric acid as something in our stomach and it, and this, you know, we need hydrochloric acid to digest food and break down things. Hydrochloric acid is also in the stomach, our first line of defense against pathogens. So we can use that intravenously. It is a, I would call it a forgotten but powerful immune stimulant in lyme recovery. So before the antibiotic era, believe it or not, Intravenous hydrochloric acid was widely used to treat a range of infections from sinusitis and tonsillitis to sepsis and pneumonia. So while this therapy may sound unconventional by today's standards, clinical evidence and decades of physician reported experience suggest it's remarkably safe, cost effective and it is an underutilized therapy, especially when dealing with complex infections like Lyme disease and the immune dysregulation it causes. At the Kohfel center we reintroduce this time tested therapy with modern precision and safety protocols to support immune function, blood integrity and detoxification. Patients struggling with chronic infections and fatigue. So how does intravenous hydrochloric acid support Lyme patients? It is a potent immune activator. One of the primary benefit of intravenous hydrochloric acid is its ability to stimulate innate immunity. It appears to activate white blood cells, particularly in neutrophils and monocytes, enhancing their ability to identify and eliminate pathogens. For patients with Lyme, Babesia, Bartonella, viral co infections whose immune system immune systems are often confused, exhausted or suppressed. Intravenous hydrochloric acid can act as a gentle immune wake up call. And historically as I mentioned, this has been used against infection in the 1920s and 1930s. So long time ago, 100 years ago, long before antibiotics, physicians used hydrochloric acid infusions to treat acute infections, even staph infections. These were often resolved then with just a few infusions. So in today's context, this therapy may enhance in that antimicrobial protocols, particularly in patients with these stubborn and relapsing infections. Also, we know that it helps to rebalance ph and reduce inflammation. So in ICU settings intravenous hydrochloric acid have been studying for correcting metabolic alkalosis state where the blood ph become too alkaline. Something we see in some Lyme patients due to chronic stress, mineral imbalances and dysregulated breathing. By restoring ph balance, hydrochloric acid can optimize enzyme activity, immune signaling and cellular detoxification. Believe it or not. Here's another one that supports mitochondrial and red blood cell function. It may stimulate in the production of red blood cells and and improve which obviously would improve oxygen delivery. So this is essential for patients with mitochondrial dysfunction, fatigue, poor circulation due to chronic Lyme or mold exposure and some clinicians they report improved energy, stamina, mental clarity after hydrochloric acid therapy. Especially when combined then with other nutrient IVs. So it's a low dose, high safety, it's diluted properly, it can then be very well tolerated and hundreds of years of clinical use and toxicity virtually non existent when administered by a trained facility like ourselves. So some mechanisms of action it generates a mild oxidative effect promoting intracellular defenses and mimicking aspects of the natural immune response. Similar to in concept to therapies like ozone and hydrogen peroxide may also assist in breaking microbial tolerance and retraining the immune system to recognize and fight hidden or persistent pathogens. Especially helpful in cases with Borrelian co infections which are hiding in immune privilege zones. In the age of complex chronic infections. Intravenous hydrochloric acid, I think offers a simple, elegant and biologically intelligent interventions for patients overwhelmed by multiple infections have a detox load and immune burnout. This therapy helps to reset that body's internal defenses, clearing the path for deeper healing. Also, something that is very important to understand when you deal with Lyme is that healing, again like I mentioned earlier in the podcast, is not just physical, it's emotional and spiritual. So at the Karl Feld center, we believe you can't fully detox your body if your heart is still holding on to grief or unforgiveness or traumas. You can't restore your mitochondria if your nervous system is still stuck in fear. And you can't expect your immune system to recognize an invader when it's too busy fighting the past. That's why emotional healing isn't optional here. It's essential. So it is a core component that a lot of people forget how important that is. So here we offer a deeply supported environment for, for this part of the journey and things that we include, we have different emotional clearing techniques, things like evox and voice therapy, theta chamber which helps with neural re patterning. And also we do music and frequency therapy because sound is medicine. Therapeutic sound bowls, vibrational resonance, calcium frequency protocols help to regulate brain waves. Open emotional blocks harmonize the autonomic nervous system. Spiritual reconnection. We have something called God's healing love, whether it's prayer, nature immersion meditation, simply reconnecting with your own intuition purpose. We help you find the spiritual thread that anchors your healing. And we use something called APN Applied psychoneurobiology where we can identify then trauma stored or belief systems stored in different areas of the body, what kind of emotion you're holding, what organ, where it's coming from. It's coming from mother's side, father's side, from your own life. I said in this generation, past generation, you can do all these detective work to pinpoint and see what is driving or what's holding this infection. Yeah, in, in, in its place. And, and we can even then use the infectious agent like Borrelia Bartonella and then correlate that with the emotion that that is holding it, that keeping you stuck. So why does this matter? You know, we've seen patients who did everything right, followed the protocols, took the antimicrobials, got the detoxes, but they still weren't getting better. And when they, you know, maybe they forgave their ex or release the guilt of losing a child or finally said I deserve to live, the immune system woke up, the inflammation dropped, the labs changed, you know, healing actually began. So at the Karl Phil center, we're not just about treating an infection. We want to make sure we're helping people come back to life. You know, not just physically, but emotionally and spiritually. Because you, it's important to understand you are not your diagnosis. You are a whole person and you are worthy of full recovery. So what can you expect and what are the next steps coming here to the Karl Feld Center? So important to understand. It isn't a one size fits all immersion when you come here. It's not a cookie cutter detox and it's certainly not a try this and hope protocol. And what we offer at the Carl plus center is a clinical immersion experience designed specifically for individuals are ready to take that next step to in reclaiming their health from Lyme disease, confections, mold, chronic inflammation. So here's what it looks like. Your journey begins with a comprehensive consultation where we listen to your story, your symptoms, your struggles, your history, your hopes. This is where we begin connecting the dots from infections and traumas to immune dysfunction, toxicity, nervous system dysregulation. Again, you're not just a diagnosis here, you're a complex whole person. And we want to make sure that we treat you that way from day one. And then testing, going beyond the basics, we want to make sure that we assess your terrain, assess what's going on here. We use things like the live blood cell analysis we talked about, autonomic response testing, heart rate variability, the HardQuest AO scan, different functional labs to identify what the terrain is, nutritional panels, mitochondrial function tests, and so much more. This helps us create a precise bi individual protocol tailored to your unique physiology and challenges. And so we create this then custom treatment plan. And whether you're here one week, two week, four weeks, two months, whatever it may be, every day is designed around your body's current capacity and your long term goals. So if your primary goal is to eliminate pathogens, we layer in photodynamic therapy, ozone treatment like eboo, IV antimicrobials, immune activators like trudose peptides. If you're in a fragile state, maybe we focus on detoxification, drainage, mitochondrial repair, emotional recalibration like flopresso, intravenous phosphatidylcholine, EVOX, NAD, hydrogen peroxide, IVs and then also maybe CBD IV for resetting their nervous system. And for many, the goal is deeper, to reconnect with themselves, clear emotional blockages, restore spiritual alignment, remember who they were before the illness began. And that's really, really important. So then we become more heavy and then like theta chamber, apn, the exomine, evox. So all of these depending on what it is that you need. We put that protocol together and we will walk with you throughout your stay and you'll have access to our dedicated care team. You have providers, many providers. We got custom IVs, ongoing testing, as we need emotional support when things feel heavy because we understand the emotional rollercoaster, our chronic illness. So you won't walk it alone here at the Karlfield Center. So the true goal is transformation. And to me, that is. And that's always what we'll look for. Whether some patients, you're just here to kill Lyme, others come to detox and rebuild. Many, perhaps most, come to rediscover hope. And they come because they're tired of chasing symptoms, tired of hearing it's all in your head, tired of spending money, time and energy without results. So they come for a new beginning. And often they'll leave with more what they imagine. So leaving with strength, clarity, connection, peace. And it's all about that transformation in the individual. And to me, I believe that is the key. So if you've been bouncing in between practitioners, protocols, philosophies, if you're exhausted from the trial and error loop, or if you simply feel something inside whispering, there has to be another way, this is your sign. So give us a call. You can go to thecarlfulcenter.com you can schedule a discovery call. It's just a free 15 minute discovery call.
